A letter from our 2018 Service Chair:

The men of One Army are motivated to selfless and authentic service. Service consists of the willingness to put others before yourself, and feeling gratitude for the ability to serve. As members of the Bryan-College Station area, students of Texas A&M, and members of One Army, we feel it is our duty to lend our strengths and abilities to those around us.

Selfless Service has always been a core value at Texas A&M and has been one of the three pillars of our Organization since 1999. Service is the key pillar to the organization and how we interact with the community. In the past, we have been involved with organizations such as Twin City Missions, The Brazos Valley Food Bank, Big Event, and our philanthropy, Still Creek Ranch. Part of the One Army mission statement is, “...serving the campus and community, and promoting unity in Aggieland.” Through service at Still Creek Ranch and other community organizations we hold true to that mission. Service is an avenue to develop ourselves as men and leaders.

This year, my goals for the organization center around two things; value and variety. I plan to utilize the strengths of every individual member and provide each member with an outlet to provide the most value possible to our community and to Still Creek Ranch. When someone hears “One Army”, I hope that they think of the service that we have done in the past, and the knowledge that we are an organization that gives far more than it takes.

Please, if you have any questions or service opportunities for One Army, contact me at the email below.
