A letter from our Brotherhood Chair Hutton Hoegemeyer
Heading into the upcoming 2025-2026 academic year, there has been a common theme that everyone is wanting to see, bulletproof brotherhood. As we are one of fastest growing organizations on campus, our members are always on the move, taking part in many of the different activities that TAMU has to offer. When we are not interacting in the community, we are buying into Gladiator Dash and working day and night to raise $180,000 for Still Creek Ranch. Our brotherhood is built upon the foundation that we surround ourselves with the highest caliber of men that Texas A&M has to offer.
Although brotherhood can be found in many different places, what separates us from the others is that our brotherhood is built upon more than just a friendship. We embody our three pillars of brotherhood, service, and leadership by intertwining them. We become brothers by serving with each other and by leading next to one another. I am a firm believer that close proximity creates relationships. When we are able to spend time doing things that many organizations do not, it makes our brotherhood much stronger and something you cannot find elsewhere.
I am very blessed to have been selected to serve as Brotherhood Chair for One Army. One Army has given me brothers that my children will call their uncles. I am super excited to have the opportunity to create an environment that fosters such a unique experience. Brotherhood is something our members are so passionate about and want to focus on strengthening by not letting our amazing growth block our view. It is easy to let life get busy and have this bond weaken, but the members of One Army will not let this be the case. When you dive into everything that One Army has to offer, I can personally promise you that you will gain a level of brotherhood that you have never experienced before. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Please feel free to reach out and contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. Thank you and God Bless!
Sincerely,
Hutton Hoegemeyer
